Polyester POY is made directly from PTA & MEG or Polyester PET Chips by high-speed spinning system. And POY is mainly used to manufacture Textured Yarn which is also known as Polyester Drawn Textured Yarn (DTY). In addition, polyester POY can also be used directly in draw warping for weaving and warp knitting of fabrics.
POY yarn is also called Pre-oriented yarn. Compared to unstretched yarn, it has more positive orientation and better stability. Polyester Yarn POY is often used as a special yarn for DTY.
